A new publication in Nature Mental Health from an international team of authors, including DUPRI scholars Avshalom Caspi and Terrie Moffitt, examines the relationship between mental health conditions and self-harm, assault and unintentional injuries using administrative data from Norway and New Zealand. The American Psychological Association (APA) has announced it will award Kenneth Dodge, the Urie Bronfenbrenner Award for Lifetime Contribution to Developmental Psychology in the Service of Science and Society. The award, given by Division 7 of the American Psychological Association (APA), recognizes an individual whose work, over a lifetime career, has contributed not only to the science of developmental psychology, but also to the practical application of developmental psychology to society.

A recent publication in SSM – Mental Health titled "Beyond the individual: Household activity of daily living limitations, urban-rural residence, and mental health" by a multidisciplinary team of researchers, including DUPRI Scholars Manoj Mohanan and Jennifer Lansford, investigates how limitations in activities of daily living (ADLs) among household members relate to the mental health of others living in the same household.

Two DUPRI Scholars are represented in the 2025 edition of the Web of Science Highly Cited Researchers list: Avshalom Caspi and Terrie Moffitt. The scholars are among the over 7,000 authors on the global list. According to Clarivate, which owns Web of Science, highly cited researchers have demonstrated significant and broad influence reflected in their publication of multiple highly cited papers over the last decade. These highly cited papers rank in the top 1% by citations for a field or fields and publication year in the Web of Science.
